Bang's Journey

Well, as you all know, I'm a guy with a common ailment called depression. If you joined CA before me, you've probably read one forum topic in particular about the horrible story of love, betrayal, and a lost identity. If you haven't guessed it, it was about the infamous "her"

When I left CA many months ago, it was because I just didn't have the time to open CA. I would come home and crawl into one corner of my room just thinking what the hell I'm doing with my life, as 50% of it was used up dealing with "her".

Recently, she and I became close, VERY close, so close I was in range of asking her out. But no, something happened. A couple of weeks ago, there was a farewell party for one of her friends going to the US for a year. At the time, I thought all was well and she liked me better than the also infamous "him", but no. After a few events, I just quit.

I gave up chasing "her". At the time, two of my friends was helping me, in a wingman sort of way. Out of depression, in the middle of the night I wrote a 10 page letter, the final letter, thanking them for helping me, but it was time to move on. It was basically a more detailed history of me and "her", y'know, cause it was late and I couldn't sleep.

Then, a couple of days ago. One of my wingmen (a girl, "her" friend) actually showed it to "her", which I wasn't planning until the end of the year.

Long story short, now she feels that my depression is her fault. She's afraid of me. I don't mind "her" being with other people, even "him", even though I'm the guy she's always with and helps her out. Now that I'm alright, she isn't.

Wow, it's an ending alright, just not the one I'm looking for.

Instead of me, now she's the one in pain. And again, it's my fault.

I'm fine now, but I have a new quest, one to fix the misunderstanding that she's the cause of all of this.
